Doing business as Angola Main Street, the Downtown Angola Coalition (DAC) is a group of passionate individuals who have supported community development since 2017. Through DAC, which obtained it’s 501(C)3 status in 2018, annual programs like the Arts Festival, Fall Festival, and Santa/Mrs. Claus, and projects like the Sojourner Truth Sculpture, Bird Song Park, and Imagination Alley have been made possible through their collaborative efforts.  DAC is Indiana Main Street accredited through the Office of Community and Rural Affairs under Lt Governor Suzanne Crouch.  DAC is also a National Main Street Affiliate Program.  We love our community, and our focus is promoting downtown activities through the Main Street Program; we work with government agencies, local business and property owners, philanthropic organizations, and many other passionate community members to coordinate  comprehensive efforts in place-making.
